The Punjab Education, Curriculum, Training and Assessment Authority (PECTAA) has released revised intermediate textbooks after updating eight books in line with the National Curriculum of Pakistan.
According to PECTAA officials, intermediate textbooks were previously being published under the 2002 syllabus. The revised books have now been prepared according to the updated national curriculum.
New Books Available for Students
PECTAA CEO Syed Musa Raza said the revised textbooks were made available in the market before the start of the new academic session so students could obtain the updated material on time.
Officials said the curriculum changes are intended to bring intermediate education closer to modern academic and learning requirements.
PECTAA had also revised textbooks for Classes 9 and 11 as part of the wider curriculum update.
Students starting the new academic session should make sure they purchase the latest editions prescribed by PECTAA, particularly for subjects where textbooks have been revised.
