The Punjab Education Curriculum, Training and Assessment Authority (PECTAA) has announced the date sheet for the first-term School-Based Assessment (SBA) 2026-27 for students from Grades 1 to 8.
The assessments will begin on September 18, 2026, and continue until September 30, 2026.
Assessment Timings
Students will take their assessments in two shifts.

Subjects Covered in the Assessment
The schedule covers English, Urdu, Mathematics, Science, General Knowledge, Islamiat/Ethics, Nazra Quran, Social Studies, Computer/Arabic, History and Geography, Tarjuma-tul-Quran-ul-Majeed, Tajveedi Qaida and optional subjects.
The first assessment takes place on September 18, with different subjects scheduled for each grade. The date sheet concludes on September 30, when Grades 4 to 8 sit their final papers of the first-term schedule.
Students should note that not every grade has a paper on each date. Dashes in the schedule indicate that no assessment is scheduled for that grade on that particular day.
